The RAM Mounts GDS Tabletop Dock Low-Profile USB-C (RAM-GDS-DOCK-D9U) is a low-profile desktop charging dock with Power Delivery for large tablets in IntelliSkin, Next-Gen, Hard, and Thin-Case protective covers. The dock supplies the device via the USB-C port with an output voltage of 20V at 3A and is ideal for permanent use with frequent insertion and removal.
The low-profile design provides an especially low overall height and makes the charging station the optimal solution for large tablets at the desk, checkout, or service area. The docking station supports all USB Type-C devices with compatible protective covers. IntelliSkin models with Lightning or MicroUSB connectors are not supported.

Unlike the D7U and D7AU models, the D9U features a flatter housing with greater depth, optimally tailored to the dimensions of large tablets. The station is designed for environments where devices are frequently placed into and removed from the dock. In retail it is used as a charging station at the checkout, in logistics as a central resting place for tablets on forklifts, and in offices as a practical desktop docking station. The device is simply placed into the dock and is immediately powered via the USB-C connector. Power Delivery technology provides an output voltage of 20 volts at 3 amps, charging compatible devices quickly and efficiently. Which devices are compatible with the GDS Low-Profile D9U charging dock?
The charging dock supports a particularly wide range of protective cases. In addition to the classic IntelliSkin and IntelliSkin Next-Gen cases, hard cases and thin cases are also compatible. This makes the D9U suitable for almost all large tablets that have a corresponding USB-C protective case from RAM Mounts. It is important that only USB-C–based models are supported.
