The smart things WallBase 55 Wave magnetic Qi Charger flush-mounted (WB55 b), matte black is a complete set for integrating a wireless Qi charging station into the wall. It consists of the flush-mounted power supply sC20 with 20 watts, an inductive WallBase charging module with up to 15 watts charging power, a USB-C flat ribbon connection cable and a cover cap in the 55 mm format in black‑gray matte (RAL 7021). The 55 mm insert is compatible with over 30 switch series from leading manufacturers such as Gira, Jung, Berker, Merten, Busch‑Jaeger, Kopp and Siemens. This allows the wireless charger to be seamlessly integrated into existing switch series.
Most current smartphones feature built-in Qi charging coils and magnets, so they can be held magnetically directly on the WallBase and optimally aligned for charging. In combination with a Qi‑certified case, smartphones without integrated magnets can also be magnetically attached and efficiently inductively charged. The set includes a powerful flush-mounted power supply sC20 with 20 watts, an inductive WallBase charging module with up to 15 watts as well as a discreet 55 mm cover cap. Installation is carried out in a standard flush-mounted box. Thanks to the 55 mm standard dimension, the system is compatible with over 30 switch series, including Gira System 55, Jung A500, Berker S1, Merten M-Smart and many others. This makes wireless charging an invisible part of the existing switch installation. The smartphone is simply magnetically attached to the wall and charged immediately. Thanks to the integrated neodymium magnets, the device is held securely and is automatically optimally aligned with the charging coil.
